Human Milk Bionutrients refer to the many beneficial nutrients contained in human milk. Those proteins, fats, vitamins and carbohydrates are essential for human health and wellbeing.

Trulacta requires that its milk bank partners stringently vet all donors, who must wait to donate milk a minimum number of months postpartum to ensure the health of their baby. Donors must also receive a doctor’s approval to donate. The donor process then begins with a thorough medical application that includes multiple exclusionary criteria. The application must be reviewed by the milk bank partner’s medical advisory team. The donor’s blood must also be screened for bloodborne pathogens, sexually transmitted diseases, prescription drugs, illicit drugs and numerous contagious illnesses. If a milk bank doesn’t require all of these things every single time, then Trulacta does not partner with them.

Trulacta requires that its milk bank partners perform a multi-step, quality-control process on all donations. That process includes microbial testing, protein analysis and toxicology screening. Trulacta also requires that donations meet federal regulations for supplements, even though the FDA does not require this. In addition, Trulacta’s proprietary Innovative Biomanufacturing Process kills any potentially harmful microbes and viruses without requiring pasteurization, which allows the many healthy, beneficial components in Human Milk Bionutrients™ to survive. Donated milk must be automatically rejected if it contains E.coli, mold, yeast, staph sp. or enterobacteria. Further, once the donated milk reaches Trulacta, Trulacta’s proprietary Innovative Biomanufacturing Process kills microbes and viruses but keeps the beneficial ingredients in Human Milk Bionutrients safe and effective. After Trulacta processes the milk, it is again tested by an outside third-party laboratory to ensure safety.

While we have seen shipping delays as a result of current events, typical shipping times are 1 to 3 business days in the United States and 7 to 21 business days in Canada. When expidited shipping is selected for Canadian orders, you can expect your delivery in 6-10 business days.
